This is the same Glory of Heracles series that has been so popular in Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System play. The newest installment, Glory of Heracles - is an RPG with a broad scope that inherits all the good points of the series and can be enjoyed by anyone. In this special feature interview, we asked the development staff members - all fans of the series themselves to tell us about the attractions of this new Glory of Heracles. In Conclusion
Nintendo:

Are there elements that will still be fun for people after they have finished the game?

Kondo: We have prepared several events that differ in the second round from the first round. There is also a Battle Series Mode called "Extra Battle." You can call up a list of Items, and I think you will be surprised at how many there are. The kinds of Items you obtain differ depending upon whether or not you have opened a chest of drawers to get them, and if you're playing in the Battle Series Mode, there's some additional complexity. There are also Maps that you can only enter in the second round of play.
Saito: Some players might find the enemy unexpectedly weak in the Battles in the Main Feature, but in the Extra Battle, they will face an array of powerful enemies, so the Battles in the latter half are something you can really sink your teeth into. Make one mistake, and you could be wiped out. You fight in a party put together expressly for the Extra Battle, but you can also use the characters that you developed in the Main Feature, so if it seems as if there's no way to win, please try it again after leveling up in the Main Feature.
Nintendo:

Lastly, do you have some message for our readers?

Nishimura: I think that this game could contend for 1st or 2nd place in terms of volume among all the games I have developed. There are some elements geared to advanced players, but basically we made it so that even beginners would be able to clear the hurdles. In particular, the main part of the scenario comes in the latter half, so please, by all means, keep on trying and play to the very end.
Horita: The staff record for the shortest time taken to clear the game is 10 hours. We would like gamers who enjoy solving puzzles quickly to try and beat this record. Some of the items, like "Fragrance of the Saint," lower your rate of encounter with enemies for a fixed length of time, but the important point is to use those Items in such a way that their effect is not cut off.
Han: I think it has been interesting to go at our own pace without being bound by the preconceptions of existing RPGs, and to experiment with and explore the kinds of effort that even we once thought were a waste of time.
Saito: This is a game that the whole staff came together as one to work on intently for a long period of time. We rigged it so that there are lines of dialog and situations that are sure to tickle your funny bone, and I'd be happy if the players caught on to these bits of humor.
Kondo: Because this title is part of a series, we have inherited the good aspects of conventional RPGs, but at the same time, we have mixed in new parts of a kind never seen in RPGs before. So, I think that as a result, Glory of Heracles has come to life again in the current age. This is why I recommend this game both to players who like the traditional sort of game and to those who want to try playing new kinds of games. We hope you all will try it.
